Kuppam - India:

rates above normal standings. This is a situation where partnering is changing
the situation for the better.
In a project launched in June 2004 TeleVital
in association with information technology giants like HP is working towards
a better tomorrow at Kuppam and in the community.
A hybrid network powered
by wireless technology and TeleVital’s software connect rural outposts (eHealth
kiosks run on entrepreneurship models developed by the HP iCommunity program)
in localities otherwise withdrawn from the economic mainstream to PES Medical
College and Hospital (a state of the art tertiary care medical facility)
situated in the heart of Kuppam. With the power of TeleVital’s technology
sources of reliable medical care and intellect have never been so close
to communities in the vicinity of Community Information Centers. With technology
capable of streaming medical data real-time, doctors and paramedics at the
periphery stand higher chances of delivering care and saving lives. TeleVital
