The Manipal Hospital on Wednesday announced its first healthcare link in the Northern region through a telemedicine
tie-up with the Gurgaon based Privat Hospital.
The tie-up will enable tele-consultations for a range of ailments with the Bangalore based super-speciality hospital
through patients at Privat Hospital, according to a release.
During the launch, Manipal Hospital demonstrated the applications of Sentinel Node Probe, one of the new nuclear
medicine treatments for cancerous turmours.
Manipal Hospital, the flagship hospital of the Manipal Education and Medical Group, also plans to further expand
its Northern base.
The group has six superspeciality healthcare hubs including one each in Nepal and Malaysia.
Televital is to be the technology partner for the alliance.
