The
VitalWare Enterprise Server Drives All Applications. A Client/Patient
is logged into the VitalWare Server through a browser. The patient is connected
to the medical device (blood pressure, EKG, etc.), which is connected (by
serial port, blue tooth, etc.) to the client computer (laptop, desktop,
etc.). The server seamlessly loads a JAVA program onto the Browser that
communicates directly with the medical device transmitting and storing the
physiological data on the VitalWare Server and Database. If a Remote Health
Care Specialist is on-line at that time, that User can log in from another
computer and receive the real-time vital sign data from the Client/Patient
in real-time. If the Remote Health Care Specialist in not online, that User
can login at a later time to view the stored files from the VitalWare and
Database Server. VitalWare also transparently downloads JAVA applications
that allow for Instant Message, Email, Security, Audio/Video conferencing,
and DICOM and Image management |
